Alejandro Galicia Cervantes (he/him)
Data & Research Analyst

Alejandro Galicia Cervantes is a Sacramento-based data analyst, political consultant, and entrepreneurial storyteller. Specializing in data analytics, strategic planning, and field operations for political campaigns, Alejandro has held key roles as Campaign Manager, Field Director, and Strategic Advisor. He managed Margaret Fortune's 2024 El Dorado County Supervisor campaign and served as Field Director for Michael Lynch’s 2022 Sacramento City Council race. Previously, he worked on Esmeralda Soria’s Assembly race in District 27, leveraging his expertise in data analytics and campaign strategy to support the campaign's objectives. With Berkeleyans for Effective Climate Action, Alejandro conducted large building tax data analysis, research, and database management. 

 

In addition to his political work, Alejandro serves as an Evaluation Consultant for the Mission Economic Development Agency. He conducted comprehensive data analysis on key demographic metrics over a five-year span, ensuring data integrity and creating detailed visualizations for stakeholders to inform programmatic decision-making.

 

Alejandro earned a B.A. in Economics, specializing in Data Analytics and Economic Analysis, and Political Science from the University of California, Davis. His academic achievements include the Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Junior Summer Institute Fellowship, the Donald A. Straus Public Service Project Scholarship, the Greenling Institute Summer Associate internship in algorithmic bias, and the CLYLP Comcast Fellowship.

 

Committed to community service, he serves as a Board Member on the Board of Directors for MENTOR California and has been actively involved with the My Brother's Keeper Sacramento Collaborative since 2017.
