M.C. David (he/him)
Co-Founder & Senior Advisor

M.C. David is Co-Founder and Senior Advisor at Forward2050. Miguel works with organizations to assess and elevate the impact of their work, and increase their visibility by harnessing the power of technology and leveraging data-informed practices.

At Forward2050, he works primarily with equity-driven organizations to develop and execute successful public-facing campaigns: from robust communications and branding strategies to managing various stages of political ad making (copywriting, compliance and distribution).

As a firm believer in participatory democracy and community-centered solutions, he engages stakeholders to reimagine and build a better-connected and more equitable world by helping them make empowered decisions, better understand their role and leverage their resources.

Additionally, Miguel’s work has been published in The Los Angeles Times, the Blum Center For Developing Economies and a number of Bay Area publications. As a storyteller, he is committed to building a pipeline of diverse storytellers, especially undocumented folks who are amongst the most economically marginalized and politically maligned groups in the United States, to shift narratives that better reflect the American experience. Most recently, Miguel provided script coverage to production companies, like Lionsgate for multimillion-dollar projects in development and post-production to ensure positive portrayal of intersectional identities.

Miguel is a graduate of UC Berkeley. Outside of work, he loves to cook and is constantly on the hunt for spy thrillers to binge watch until he falls asleep. He is also a fan of perennial West Coast rivals: San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams.
